The Zen Den Threshold

Is a small, sacred space—an intimate gathering place for the healing arts. A place where transformation is not forced, but invited… through presence, sound, reflection, and gentle return.

Here, we don’t rush change. We create the conditions for it.

What the Zen Den offers:

Zen Den Rentals:

The Zen Den is held in light and openness. South-facing windows rise 18 feet, filling the room with natural light. A balcony opens the space outward. A sunroof invites in sky, air, and breath.

 

At the heart of the room sits a 200-year-old Buddha, gifted to the Zen Den from the old King of Thailand—a quiet presence, watching, holding, blessing.

The space gently accommodates:

  • Seating for up to 25 theatre style

  • Classroom large table 10 people in long table and 5 people in small table. A total of 15 people

  • Ottomans, floor cushions, two yoga mats, bring your own yoga mats if needed

  • Kitchen rental for cooking or serving.Zen Den will provide filtered water

  • Accommodation is a bedroom with own bathroom; loft shared with Maggie. This can be rented for a evening in Victoria for the theatre or festival event in Victoria.

Co Host with Maggie

When you co-host an event with Maggie, she brings her full presence and energy to support its success. Your event will be promoted through her established community via newsletter and website postings, helping you reach a wider, aligned audience.

Maggie is deeply committed to the space and will take care of all event logistics, including setup according to your needs. She will warmly welcome guests, manage registration, collect payments, and be available to answer any questions. Guests will be offered tea, filtered water, and light snacks to create a comfortable and nurturing environment.

Throughout the event, Maggie will be present as your host—supporting you, tending to the space, and ensuring that all participants feel safe, cared for, and at ease. She will also introduce guests to the sacred nature of the Zen Den, including the presence of the 200-year-old Buddha and the offerings available within the space.

Exchange & Payment Structure

To support the operational costs of the Zen Den—including rent, insurance, and other logistics—a 30/70 revenue split is in place.

  • 30% is offered to the Zen Den

  • 70% is retained by the facilitator

All participant payments are processed through the Zen Den, either via the website or by e-transfer.
